Hi! I'm Max, and I'm a director of photography, and I also make edits. I'm based in Rotterdam. I have experience in short films, commercials and documentaries and ideally I'm looking for a nice project to really sink my teeth in. I've worked for ESPN, Feyenoord, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a range of commercial bureaus and last year I shot two pilots for 3LAB (Bittersweet, AvroTros and Cum Laude, BNNVARA) and shot and edited a short film (Verlosing). The year before that I shot and edited another short film (Benauwd, Official Selection International Film Festival Bratislava) and did the cinematography and the edit for a sports documentary (El Gladiador, Feyenoord production). Apart from my capabilities as a cinematographer and editor I also own a studio in Rotterdam, in case there's a necessity for anything ranging from (small) green screen shoots, projection or a place to edit. I'm not necessarily looking for anything that's particularly well paid, the most important thing for me is that it's a project with a good story and good people!
