For this short film, we are still looking for the following roles: DP – Someone who acts as the camera(wo)man and oversees the entire cinematography. We are essentially looking for someone who has their own camera and other equipment. It is a plus if you are also a steadicam operator, as we have planned many steadicam shots. Gaffer – For this role as well, it would be great if you had your own equipment for us to work with. Sound Engineer – Again, preferably someone with their own audio equipment. Production Designer – The person responsible for the visual design of the sets/props, etc. Costume Designer – The film presents a number of fun challenges regarding costumes. We have several scenes where the actors are dressed as cavemen.

Looking for actors: Crime comedy short film

We are looking for 3 actors. The roles are: Cole(Detective. Male, age 25–35, medium height/build) - serves as the middle ground between the two criminals(one serious and one completely ridiculous). Calm and authoritative at first, he conducts the interrogation with confidence, but gradually grows irritated by the absurd answers he receives, leading to occasional outbursts of frustration. Turner(Criminal. Male, age 20–30, medium height/build)- is the comedic centre of the film. Ignorant yet enthusiastic, he approaches the interrogation in a childish and oblivious manner, accidentally making the detective’s job both harder and easier at the same time. Despite trying to stay loyal, he is easily manipulated into revealing more than he should. Stan(Criminal. Male, age 25–35, tall and slim) - the serious half of the criminal duo. Calm, controlled, and unfazed throughout the interrogation, he refuses to admit involvement in the crime or answer direct questions. However, he becomes strangely passionate whenever the stolen “stone” is discussed, insisting on correcting everyone who refers to it incorrectly.

We are still looking for two roles: - Gijsbert (45-60 years old, white) is a middle-aged man who often picks things out of thin air to complain about. He goes through the day with crude jokes and old proverbs. He means well, but they can sometimes be taken the wrong way. He can be described as an ignorant character with a small heart. When Gijsbert is visiting someone, he assumes that he will be looked after. - Johanna (60+ years old, white) is the birthday girl's neighbor. She is an older woman and takes on a kind of grandmother role. She is constantly busy arranging things and enjoys doing so. She has spent her entire life in the Achterhoek, and this is evident in her accent and hospitality. Due to this location, she is also familiar with the mythical stories surrounding the Witte Wieven. In fact, she is even named after a character in this legend.
