Marina Wijn
Workshop Film Acting and Casting
On August 29/30/31, 2022, director/screenwriter David Lammers and casting director/instructor Marina Wijn will once again host a workshop at the Kraaybeekerhof estate. During these three days, you will work in a group of eight actors. In addition to theoretical knowledge—how do I market myself?—there is ample opportunity for practical application. You will receive feedback on your casting photos and showreel. You will create an introductory video and a self-tape (monologue) in advance, which we will discuss both technically and thematically. In pairs, you will perform scenes for the camera, review the material together, and analyze it. Do you encounter any difficulties while acting? We will address them, with the goal of ensuring that you remain true to yourself on the film set and during castings, and maintain your enjoyment of acting.
