De kunstdocent is een intelligente, welbespraakte en gedreven professional met een sterke focus op talent. Ze zijn charmant en geestig, maar ook kritisch en selectief. Hun aandacht richt zich vooral op studenten waarin ze potentie zien, terwijl anderen nauwelijks hun interesse wekken. Deze fixatie, vooral op Lisa – een student met uitzonderlijk talent – verstoort soms het evenwicht in de klas. De docent projecteert eigen ambities op haar, wat zowel inspirerend als verstikkend kan zijn.
The role:
The teacher is an intelligent, articulate, and driven professional with a strong focus on talent. They are charming and witty, yet critical and selective. Their attention is primarily directed towards students they see potential in, while others barely capture their interest. This fixation, especially on Lisa— a student with exceptional talent— sometimes disrupts the balance in the classroom. The teacher projects their own ambitions onto her, which can be both inspiring and overwhelming.
