Our production seeks 5 main actors: 1. Daniel Moore: - Archetype: The Theorist - Ethnicity: White - Former president of the high school's student council, interested in investigative journalism (hobby via his personal YouTube channel) - The initial leader of the group - Sort of a dictator (micro-manager, someone who constantly feels the need to be in control), very stubborn, a genuine asshole. - Boyfriend of Lani Patel (see Character 2) 2. Lani Patel: - Archetype: The air-headed art lover - Ethnicity: White - Member of the photography club back in high school. The only member. The best member. - Very shy by nature, dependent on others, finds comfort in Daniel (her partner, see Character 1). - Meet Cute with Daniel: head of the student council reaches out to the best member of the photography club to do a photoshoot for a planned event. 3. Raj Akhtar: - Archetype: the class clown - Ethnicity: South Asian - Serves to create a comedic atmosphere by implying jokes during problem solving. - A real jock at heart. Loves field volleyball (usually a bench warmer). Very undermined by their trainers, teachers and fellow peers. - Uses awkward sense of humour to attempt to make a close community. 4. Araya Sano: - Archetype: the stoner - Ethnicity: Asian - An early stoner (already back in high school). - Very smart, kind of nerdy, into research (specifically loves to go down Wikipedia rabbit holes). - High emotional intelligence, a great empath, serves as the emotional anchor. 5. Florence Greywood: - Archetype: The 2nd Theorist (special) - Ethnicity: black - Curious, hardy by nature, sarcastic (acerbic) - Acknowledged as weird due to not being social with her peers. - The least known of the group – did not go to high school with the rest - Genuinely hates people

SATIRE SHORT FILM, dancing acting actors wanted student role

We have one of the students already casted, the other two we are still making decisions around. We are getting close to the shooting days and we just can't wait for our whole cast to be complete. We are looking for somebody who is around student age and comfortable acting in a clownish way. Who is comfortable dancing and more so making funny movements. Who is excited about this production as a passion project, who has time for max 3/4 rehearsal days and 2 days of shooting.

Satire story male actor/talk show host wanted

We are looking for a male actor, 28+ (we want to avoid the host and students looking the same age), who wants to experiment with a theatrical type. As well as dive into the world of showbizz and always keeping up appearances. We will work with a studio space, fake crew, fake audience and ofcourse the real crew and rest of the cast. There will be a bunch of dialogue as well as expressions/ non vocal acting moments. The host really is the face and star of the show, be prepared to take control over this, the studio and your ego cause we'd love him to really be this big character.

Denk aan collega’s die samen overleggen, iemand die meeloopt op de werkvloer of een medewerker die kort in interactie is met een ondernemer. De rollen zijn klein maar zichtbaar in beeld en worden gespeeld naast een hoofdpersonage binnen verschillende sectoren zoals horeca, retail, logistiek, kantoor en bouw. Daarom zoeken we een mix van leeftijden, achtergronden en uitstraling. Het belangrijkste is dat je comfortabel bent voor de camera en natuurlijk kunt bewegen in een werksituatie. Acteerervaring is niet nodig. Juist mensen die zichzelf blijven werken hier vaak het beste.

We are looking for the following roles for a drama short film: Lea, 21 years old, grew up in a small village near Amsterdam. She is expressive and organized, and prefers to avoid taking risks. She is loyal to the people she loves. She is trying to find her place in the city while continuing to make time for her close group of friends and her boyfriend, with whom she is going to move in together in Amsterdam. Sofia, 22. She comes from the same neighborhood as Lea, and they grew up there together. Sofia is ambitious and spontaneous, and a little impulsive. She loves adventure and never misses an opportunity to go party. Sofia has one brother and two younger sisters. She thrives on energy and social connections, which is why she plans to continue her studies for a while longer and fully enjoy student life. Remy is 23 years old and grew up in Utrecht. His father is French and his mother is Dutch. He graduated in event management and works for a company that organizes events throughout the Randstad. He enjoys the dynamic life in both Utrecht and Amsterdam, and is looking forward to finally moving in with Lea.
