We are looking for four main actors + 12 extras.
Arthur James, 37, is a financial consultant who helps the wealthy manage and grow their fortunes, though he doesn’t quite belong in their world. He’s of average height and build, with well-groomed hair and light eyes that stand out against his polished appearance. His tailored suit is expensive but lacks the effortless style of the ultra-rich, making him seem slightly out of place. Arthur has a sharp focous glaze.
The auctioneer is a confident and persuasive figure, expertly controlling the room with charm and authority. Beneath his polished exterior, he knows how to push the bidders, driving up the stakes. While he appears calm and smooth, there’s a sharpness to his actions, making him both a performer and a manipulator.
Arthur’s main rival Michael Dewit, an overly-confident man in his early 40s. He flaunts his wealth and power with a cocky smirk and a flashy, perfectly tailored suit. His slicked-back hair and piercing eyes give him a sharp, almost predatory look. His body language is relaxed and arrogant. He’s driven by a need to dominate and outshine everyone around him.
Cecile Matthews, this character, in her early 30s, is a wealthy socialite who exudes glamour but lacks awareness. Dressed in high-end fashion, she often seems lost in her own world, more focused on her appearance than the auction around her. In a telling moment, she fails to recognize her own bracelet when it’s up for bidding, underscoring her disconnection from the situation.
