Registration for the auditions at The Dutch Actors School is open again! Do you want to work on your acting skills at a high level and be taught by the top extras in the Dutch theater and film industry? Then this six-month program is perfect for you. Our instructors include Jeroen Spitzenberger, Sigrid ten Napel, Melody Klaver, Angela Schijf, Bas Keijzer, Eva van der Gucht, and Rian Gerritsen. The six-month program is ideal when: • You would like to further develop yourself alongside your work or studies, or pick up an old passion again. • You have already completed relevant training and/or gained practical experience, but feel you still have much to learn. • You are taking a gap year and want to prepare for drama school. Starting in September 2024, groups will begin in Apeldoorn, Amsterdam, and Rotterdam. Class days are Sundays for the Apeldoorn location, Mondays for the Amsterdam location, and Thursdays for the Rotterdam location. You can also come audition for our new program: Camera Acting in Utrecht! The auditions take place on June 23 (in Apeldoorn), June 24 (in Amsterdam), June 27 (in Rotterdam), and July 1 (in Amsterdam). For my studies I have to make a short comedy film for the True Friend film festival. A video about friendship, with primary school students from groups 7 & 8 from Geldrop as the target group. The shooting day will take place in the week of June 10-16. The story takes place at a campsite, where 2 friends spend their holiday together. They decide to make pancakes together, but this goes completely wrong. The batter flies around their ears and little comes of the pancakes. At the end they sit defeated in front of their camper, but shortly afterwards the boys realize that they have had a lot of fun after all. We are looking for 2 actors between the ages of 25 & 30. 'Alias Wolf', a mysterious whodunit, takes the audience into the intriguing world of writers and publishers. The story revolves around the pseudonym Wolf Jacobs, a writer battling a powerful company that wants to stop his new book. To triumph, he must utilize all his talent. Is the pen ultimately mightier than the sword? Producer Willemijn de Krey ensured that 'Alias Wolf' could be realized without major subsidies. With the recognition at the ÉCU Film Festival, she hopes to prove that 'Alias Wolf' is a strong independent film. "This is truly a film for mystery lovers with a complex plot and unique setting.
