Esther Ras

My name is Esther Ras, an actress from Rotterdam. My focus is on Dutch film and television, particularly drama, crime, thriller, and social realist fiction. I enjoy playing characters with tension, emotion, and depth: women who appear strong, calm, or direct on the outside, but carry much more on the inside.
My experience includes a lead role in a commercial for FNV Vakbond, roles in short films, set experience with Mocro Maffia and De Majesteit, and training at the Rotterdam Theatre School. Previously, I acted and trained at Jeugdtheater Hofplein for several years.
I speak standard Dutch and can also act with a Rotterdam accent. I am available for film, television, commercials, short films, supporting roles, guest roles, speaking roles, and substantial character roles.
