Imagine is hét filmfestival in Nederland waar de verbeelding centraal staat. Het vindt jaarlijks plaats in april in EYE te Amsterdam. Bij Imagine vind je een bijzondere selectie van de beste films van het afgelopen jaar op het gebied van fantasy, science-fiction, horror, anime, martial arts en cult. Het festival toont films waarin je meegevoerd wordt naar onbekende werelden of die je anders laten kijken naar onze eigen wereld. Imagine slaat ook een brug naar andere disciplines. Zo zijn wetenschap en filosofie vaste programmaonderdelen binnen het festival.
De 33ste editie vindt plaats van 12-22 april 2017 in EYE in Amsterdam. Daarnaast realiseert het festival programma’s door het jaar heen.

National and international guests, including film professionals, directors, artists, actors and actresses, are invited to introduce films, hold follow-up talks, give masterclasses or realize exhibitions. The festival collaborates with a large number of cultural institutions.
