At the Natourale Festival in Wiesbaden, Germany, 'FLOW – an ode to urban nature' was awarded the prize for Best Short Film in the Nature category.

Earlier this year, this film by Suzanne van Leendert also won the Best Experimental Film award at the VAASA Wildlife Festival in Finland, after being screened in the Netherlands, Canada (Ontario International Film Festival), and the United States (International Strasbourg Film Festival).

Suzanne van Leendert went in search of a connection with nature in her immediate surroundings, a canal in the city of Utrecht, her 'backyard' as it were. It is a poetic, associative, and experimental film that shows that nature is not separate from us but is all around us.
