On Tuesday, May 25 at 2:00 PM, a panel discussion will take place at Het Binger, titled:
Slanted Visions.
A panel consisting of Paul Rigter, Hetty Naaijkens, Kit Hung, O. Nathapon, and Hong Tong Wu—filmmakers, actors, and producers, respectively—examines the role of filmmakers of Asian descent in changing national and cultural representation in Europe. How do these filmmakers, actors, and producers express the need for the recognition of (multi)cultural identities?

Prior to the panel discussion, we will the three short films from the
CinemAsia Film Lab screening. In this FilmLab, CinemAsia offers young Asian
Dutch filmmakers the chance to realize their film plan. (see www.cinemasia.nl for more info)
