New feature film project by Ricky Rijneke selected for Venice Film Festival production market.

Dutch filmmaker and screenwriter Ricky Rijneke has been selected with her new feature film project The Hunter's Son for the Venice Gap-Financing Market of the Venice Film Festival, which takes place this year from August 28 to September 7.

The Hunter's Son is the only Dutch fiction project selected for this prestigious co-financing market, along with 22 other feature film projects from around the world.
Only projects that have secured 70% of their funding and will be filmed soon are presented at the market.

The Hunter's Son is an international co-production supported by multiple film funds from various countries. In addition to the Netherlands Film Fund, the Icelandic Film Centre, the Polish Film Institute, and the Flanders Audiovisual Fund are participating.

Recently, Eurimages, the Council of Europe's co-production fund, decided
To financially support The Hunter's Son as the first Dutch feature film in 2019.

With The Hunter's Son, her second feature film project, Ricky Rijneke was previously invited to three international Talent Labs, including the artistic development program of the Toronto Film Festival (TIFF).
