On Saturday, January 16, Cinesud is organizing the Day of … Documentary at Cinema Lumiere in Maastricht, an interactive program with lectures, speed dating, discussions, and more!

A documentary filmmaker at heart? Planning to make documentaries? Or simply interested in the medium and the storytelling form? Then come to our Day of Documentary! Meet fellow documentary filmmakers, connect with national professionals, attend several seminars, and participate in our panel discussion. We will conclude the day with drinks and an exclusive preview of the documentary Ageless Friends (Marijn Poels).

The program:
12:00-12:30: lecture on the use of archival material in documentaries (Frank Holthuizen)
12:30-13:30: one-on-one sessions and speed dating (incl. snacks and drinks)
14:00-14:30: lecture on objectivity, integrity, and truth in documentaries (Marijn Poels)
14:30-15:30: interactive panel discussion
16:00-17:30: exclusive preview of Ageless Friends (Marijn Poels) with Q&A
followed by: networking drinks
