NBF network drink on Monday March 30 – Exclusive preview Go Short festival with Q&A Mees Peijnenburg
On Monday, March 30, 2015 it is already time for the next NBF networking drink! This edition, a special selection from the Go Short International Short Film Festival will be screened, with an explanation by director Kirsten Ruber and a Q&A with up-and-coming directing talent Mees Peijnenburg. If you want to get in the mood for the festival and see some of the highlights of the festival, come and visit the Kring!
Go Short – International Short Film Festival Nijmegen
From 8 to 12 April, Nijmegen will be dedicated to international short films. Go Short brings together film enthusiasts as well as a large delegation of domestic and foreign film professionals. From more than 2900 submissions, Go Short selected the best 300 European films of the past year. All of these films are eligible for the Go Short Awards. In addition to the competition program, this year's festival also focuses on filmmaker Gunhild Enger (Norway), films from the Baltic States and the theme Generation I. Filmmaker Yann Gonzalez (France) is present as a special guest. His inspiration program is shown on 16 mm.
There are various workshops and lectures for professionals. The NBF is collaborating with Go Short for the fifth time this year and is organizing an inspiring Industry Day on Friday 10 April during the festival. Film professionals can still apply for the day using this form https://goshort.filmchief.com/request-accreditation/industry. NBF members can buy a ticket for the Industry Day with a 50% discount! The complete festival program can be found on www.goshort.nl. You can also buy tickets via the website.
