NBF network drink on Monday 16 March – Digital distribution: How does financing and production work for new digital platforms such as Netflix?

On Monday, March 16, 2015, another NBF networking drink will take place. This time with the theme 'Digital distribution: How does financing and production work for new digital platforms such as Netflix?'.

For several years it has been possible to watch films and series made exclusively for digital channels such as Netflix and, soon, Amazon. In the Netherlands there are the initiatives of Cinetree and Videoland, which are coming up with a series that can only be seen via their own video-on-demand.

During this evening, various speakers will share their knowledge and answer all kinds of questions. How do these cross-border initiatives work and what are these companies looking for? What are the advantages of making films and series in this way and what is the financing like? And what changes for producers with this way of working?

Dinner deal
Visitors to the NBF networking drink can make use of a special dinner deal. There is a choice between a menu with one course (€12.50) and two courses (€18.50), payable at the bar upon arrival. Dinner is served at 18:30 in the Kring restaurant. Via Eventbrite you can indicate whether you want to use the dinner deal. Applications must be received no later than Friday, March 13.
