VISUAL STORYTELLING ON THE FRONTLINE

Traveling to high-risk areas and fragile states requires a special approach. Not only for you as a SoJo (Solo Journalist) or CamJo (camera journalist), but also for your expensive film and photo equipment. There is always a certain degree of danger, and filming conditions are sometimes difficult. So how do you create a creative and compelling visual story? You will learn just that in this one-day crash course by conflict reporter Bud Wichers. This year, he has already made reports in Syria, Iraq, Ukraine, and Gaza, among other places.
