NTR, the Netherlands Film Fund, the Media Fund, and CoBO are organizing KORT! for the 15th time.

New and established directors and screenwriters from the Netherlands and Flanders are given the opportunity to make short fiction films. KORT! consists of ten short fiction films between 5 and 10 minutes in length, for which a budget of up to €73,500 per film is available. Animation film projects can also participate in KORT! These receive a longer production period (of up to 18 months).
KORT! is part of the Delta Plan Talent.

Participate
An application can only be submitted by an experienced producer established in the Netherlands.
Each producer may submit a maximum of three projects. A director is eligible for a maximum of one production grant. In addition to relevant education, directors are required to have at least one completed (short) fiction film to their name. Directors who have already made a KORT! three times may reapply five years after their last participation.

Selection
The selection is based on written screenplays. Preference is given to screenplays with Dutch dialogue and narrative films with a contemporary subject for a mature audience. Emphasis is placed on the cinematic potential of the screenplay and the creativity and boldness of the filmmaker(s). A directorial vision is required.
