From Friday, May 30 to Sunday, June 1, 2014, the Ambacht in Beeld film festival will be held at the Dansmakers aan 't IJ theater, in the Kromhouthal in Amsterdam.

'Ambacht in Beeld' is a documentary film festival about craftsmanship in the broadest sense of the word. Various films will premiere, and international directors will be present for Q&As and lectures. There are also masterclasses and demonstrations by artisans for young and old.

On display are, among others, Men of the Cloth about Italian master tailors, Craft about independent breweries, Still Life: Ron Mueck at Work about the Australian artist Ron Mueck, Maker about the Maker Movement, Spark: A Burning Man Story about the Burning Man festival, Sign Painters about American sign painters, and Indie Game: The Movie about indie game designers.
