The Windy Miller Foundation is organizing the second edition of the documentary film festival "Ambacht in Beeld" in Amsterdam from May 23 to 25, 2014.

The focus is on the human as maker and artisanal craftsmanship, captured in beautiful documentaries from around the world. International guest speakers will shed new light on the subjects featured, and various artisans will give workshops and demonstrations for young and old. Prior to the festival, we are organizing a craft filmmaking workshop for both schools and private individuals, for which you can sign up now.

For this festival, we invite filmmakers and producers to submit documentaries about craftsmanship, in the broadest sense of the word. Submissions are open until April 1, 2014. This year, special attention is being paid to Amsterdam crafts. The application form and terms and conditions can be found at www.windymiller.nl
