DELTA Shorts Competition
On Sunday, September 13, the winner of the short film competition, the DELTA Shorts by Film by the Sea, will be announced.
Young filmmakers can compete for the DELTA Young Talent Award title and take home a cash prize of €1,000. In addition, the Provincial project 'New Zealand' is making an extra cash prize of €1,000 available.

The films must be submitted before August 15, and by August 20 at the latest, it will be announced which films have been selected for the shortlist of the DELTA Young Talent Award. The nominated films will be screened on Sunday, September 13.

A professional jury consisting of actresses Rifka Lodeizen and Hanna Verboom and jury chairman Hugo Metsers will announce the winner on Sunday, September 13, during Film by the Sea. This jury prize will be officially presented during the Award Ceremony Dinner on Saturday, September 19, where the filmmaker will join a group of international filmmakers.

The public can vote for their favorite. All films can be viewed and rated on www.zeelandnet.nl starting August 20. These votes, as well as the votes cast during the screening at CineCity on Sunday, September 13, will count. The winners will be shown on Omroep Zeeland.

New is the Shooting Star Award, an initiative of film production company Shooting Star (Maria Peters, Dave Schram, Hans Pos). This award is an encouragement prize for the best idea, best cinematography, or best direction.

In addition to main sponsor DELTA, the Province of Zeeland also has a cash prize of

DELTA Shorts starts on Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM (screening of short films).
The award ceremony starts at 5:30 PM. Admission: €9 (or €4.50 upon presentation of your DELTA filmXperience participation form)
Age: young filmmakers aged 14 - 30.
