Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty), Ben Whishaw (Skyfall), and Léa Seydoux (La vie d'Adele) have been cast in the Lemming Film co-production The Lobster. The film is the English-language debut of Greek director Yorgos Lanthimos, who made a splash with his earlier films Kineta (Toronto Film Festival, Berlinale), Dogtooth (Prix un certain regard Cannes 2009, Oscar nomination), and Alps (awarded at the Venice Film Festival 2011).

The Lobster won the ARTE Prize for Best Project earlier this year at the IFFR's Cinemart. The project is a minority co-production by Lemming Film with Element Pictures from Ireland, Faliro House from Greece, and Haut et Court from France. Shooting begins in March 2014.
