The Food Film Festival (FFF) is heading towards its fourth edition. In May 2014, the best, most entertaining, and most beautiful food films from around the world will be screened once again. The Food Film Festival is therefore looking for all films about food and calls upon filmmakers, distributors, the festival, and film and food lovers to submit their work.

The Festival
During the three days of the festival, the FFF attempts to cover all aspects of food. This is done primarily through film screenings, but in addition to films, the festival offers debates, lectures, live shows, a market, and workshops.
The Food Film Festival believes that the world can be changed with the help of good stories. By creating a platform for food stories, the Food Film Festival hopes to convey the love of food while simultaneously addressing the many problems related to our current food system.

Movies
Besides food, the Food Film Festival loves film. The FFF encourages independent cinema and offers industry professionals the chance to meet at the festival.
The FFF is looking for any film in which an important aspect of food is featured. This means that food can be the subject, but that is not a requirement. Food can play an important yet secondary role, or even be present in the background. It can be used cinematographically to convey a specific message, emotion, atmosphere, or idea. Food can be used as an aesthetic component. As an object or subject. You name it.

Practical
Films of any genre can be submitted: fiction, documentary, experimental, animation, or whatever you consider to be film. Additionally, films of any length can be submitted. The deadline is February 1, 2014. Selected films may be nominated for a category-specific Award. Details regarding the competition will be available on our website during November. The jury responsible for selecting the winner(s) will consist of film professionals. None of them will be part of the organization.
