The Film Industry Guide, the online platform for the Dutch film industry, is on the rise again in 2013. In 2013, more than 8,000 film professionals, organizations, and companies were connected via an account provided by initiator Filmpeople.

Expansions on the way
Several important expansions for the platform are on the agenda for the coming months. The homepage and profiles are being updated, and with support from the Netherlands Film Fund, work is underway on a social platform for film professionals under the title "Filmpeople Connecties". Filmmakers who have registered with the Film Industry Guide automatically participate in this social network for professionals.
