On 1 October, the Green Film Making Project, in collaboration with the Netherlands Film Fund, is organizing the Sustainable Sessions in the heart of the Netherlands Film Festival.

In 2013, all films made in KORT! program participates in the Green Film Making Project. The production houses were challenged to make their production processes more sustainable and to apply green film making within the Dutch film industry. With the Sustainable Sessions, the Green Film Making Project and the Netherlands Film Fund show what sustainable entrepreneurship means - and will mean more and more - for the Dutch film and television industry. With inspiring examples of sustainable entrepreneurs and the presentation of two years of the Green Film Making Competition.

Are you curious about what green film making is exactly, how you can make your film production more sustainable, and what opportunities sustainable innovation offers for your company? Then come to the Sustainable Sessions on 1 October 2013.

The presentation is in the hands of Simone Weimans (presenter NOS Journaal).

The Sessions offer the Dutch media industry inspiration and tools to reshape its own production processes. The guide How to Green Your Film Production (so far) will also be available for the first time on this day - the guide with practical tips for filmmakers who would like to work more sustainably.

The Green Film Making Project was set up by the Strawberry Earth Foundation. The aim of the project is to introduce sustainable, innovative ways of working in the film industry, to bring knowledge and experience with sustainable production from abroad and from other sectors to the Dutch industry, and to inspire producers to find new ways of working. Part of the Green Film Making Project are the Sustainable Sessions, a series of afternoons where you meet the trendsetters in the field of sustainable innovation.
