ShortsTV, the premier TV channel for short films, offers you the opportunity to unveil your idea for your next short film project and stand a chance to win a €5,000 production budget and a TV premiere! Additionally, your short film project will be promoted on Cinecrowd.nl to secure an additional €5,000 in crowdfunding for your project.

THE CHALLENGE:

During The Pitch, you get 2 minutes and 15 seconds to present your idea on camera. In one take. This will be shown on www.shortstv.com and on her social media channels. Followed by a 45-second compilation of previous work (from a short film or showreel – entirely royalty-free).

The pitches will take place during the Netherlands Film Festival on September 26 & 27 from 15:00 to 16:30. The winner will be announced during Claudia de Breij's talk show on Wednesday, October 2.

THE RULES:

• You have previously made a short film or commercial.
• You can pitch in Dutch or English.
• You send us work 45 seconds earlier (fully royalty-free) in accordance with the technical and delivery specifications mentioned below.
• You own the relevant copyright to your pitch idea to protect ownership of your idea.
• Your pitch may last a maximum of 2 minutes and 15 seconds.
• Your pitch and showreel can be broadcast worldwide on ShortsTV and its social media channels.
• The winning film has a Dutch angle. For example: spoken in Dutch, a Dutch subject, filmed in the Netherlands, or a Dutch director.
• The pitched short film has a maximum budget of €10,000 and a maximum running time of 12 minutes.
