When Happiness Was Very Just 'The Film' will have to do without actor Huib Rooymans (Mr. Harmsen). The actor cannot possibly agree with the place that has been reserved for his Mister Harmsen in the scenario. According to him, the film is too far removed from the spirit of the KRO comedy series. The film script was therefore written by someone else, and not by Gerard Cox and Sjoerd Pleijsier, as with the TV series. Apart from a few details, the producer has seen no possibility of meeting Rooymans' wishes.
Huib Rooymans is very sorry because he had been looking forward to a 'feast of recognition' for the audience, his former players and himself. But he insists on staying true to the memory that the public and himself have of his popular character 'Meneer Harmsen'.
