For two weeks, hundreds of readers cast their votes for the 22 submitted film scripts via the website www.bijlhoutmedia.com

22 writers have attempted to write a film script for a 10-15 minute short film. The best 5 scripts will be filmed and compete for the coveted title of I-WRITER.

On Wednesday, May 8, these ten writers will appear before the professional jury, where they will have to defend their scripts.

This year, the jury once again consists of Borger Breeveld, Astrid van Eer, and Eartha Silos.

They will decide which 5 scripts will ultimately be filmed.

The results will be shown on ATV Suriname on Thursday, May 16.

Parts of the broadcast will be available online afterwards on the Bijlhout Media website and on YouTube via BHMWEBTV™
