FbtS Shorts
Are you a young filmmaker between 14 and 35 years old and have you made a film or are you planning to film soon? Then the FbtS Shorts film competition might be for you. FbtS Shorts is a competition during the Film by the Sea film festival where anyone from the Netherlands and Belgium can submit a short film to compete for the Young Talent Award and the accompanying fantastic cash prize.

The competition
FbtS Shorts is a competition for short films of up to 10 minutes. Whether self-taught or a film academy student, it does not matter. All submitted films have a chance to win Awards. A selection is made from all submissions in the run-up to the festival. During the festival, the nominated films are screened and judged by a professional jury.

By participating in FbtS Shorts with a short film, you stand a chance to win many special prizes.
