The film
A film about the dilemmas of the Western Garden City in 2012, but also about the love and commitment of residents to their neighborhood.

Light, Air, and Space: that was the concept behind the Western Garden Cities in Amsterdam, designed by urban planner Cornelis van Eesteren. We examine how residents currently live in their neighborhood and how they utilize the various amenities available. Urban renewal is stagnating, and some monumental residential buildings even face the threat of demolition. Recently, residents' committees have been established that are actively engaged in protecting their homes and securing the future of Van Eesteren's legacy.
