Dutch actress Anneke Weerts in internationally released music video INTO THE LIGHT by German dance duo Stone & Van Linden

As of today, Dutch actress Anneke Weerts can be seen as the lead actress in the music video INTO THE LIGHT by the German producer duo CJ Stone & Marc van Linden. The single INTO THE LIGHT by Stone & Van Linden (feat. Lyck) is currently a hit on the French dance charts. The video was produced by the Eindhoven-based company Smart Media Productions and serves as the official music video.
INTO THE LIGHT was released in the Netherlands by Soundz Good. The single and video are also being released in France, Canada, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Stone & Van Linden previously scored European dance hits with the singles Summer Breeze (2011) and Sky (2011).

In the music video for INTO THE LIGHT, Anneke Weerts plays a young woman who is abducted and held captive by a stalker after an argument with her lover, until she finds a way to escape. Quote Anneke Weerts: "I myself was stalked by a complete stranger in the past. He followed me and would suddenly appear out of nowhere in front of me at random moments. Terrifying. It wasn't until I moved, and the man no longer knew where I lived, that I felt safe again. I am now committed to combating this misconduct in every possible way. I am the face of Meldknop.nl, a website that gives young people a place to report unpleasant incidents, including stalking, online. With the role in this music video, I was able to channel the fear and anger into a beautiful, intense form."
