Production has begun on eight new One Night Stand films. One Night Stand is the joint short film project of NTR, VARA, and VPRO, in which new filmmakers are given the opportunity to make a 50-minute TV film. The films will premiere at the Netherlands Film Festival in September and will be broadcast on television in late 2013.

Bingerlab Workshop
The photo comic kicked off with a workshop at the Bingerlab in Amsterdam last month. Directors and screenwriters of the eight new ONS films were coached for two days by directors Dana Nechushtan and Joram Lürsen, among others, on directing a key scene from the script. The goal: to find out whether the scene works in the script or not! The makers were assisted by professional actors. In addition, they were thoroughly questioned about the choices they made in the script.
