USHI SCORES IN THE CINEMAS TOO

Yesterday, the film Ushi Must Marry, in which Wendy van Dijk's famous character goes in search of a husband, was a huge success in theaters. With around 13,000 visitors, director Paul Ruven's zany comedy shot straight into the top 3 of Valentine's Day attendance. In the film, the disruptive and sassy Japanese journalist takes matters into her own hands when her parents want to marry her off to a sumo wrestler.

The comedy, which is showing in 107 Dutch cinemas, not only opened better than blockbusters such as Mr. Bean's Holiday (12,100 visitors) and Borat (10,700), but also attracted more visitors than a recent box office hit like Alles is Familie (12,000 visitors).
