On Sunday, November 11, we will draw attention to our film-in-progress, Dance Iranian Style, through dance. The audience will actively participate in the dance.

With this feature film, we want to give a face to all the invisible inhabitants who live among us. Roya, a 19-year-old refugee from Iran whose application has been rejected, must fend for herself in the Netherlands after her asylum application is denied. To survive, she starts dancing on the streets, albeit disguised as a boy to feel safer. But what she ultimately wants is to achieve her long-cherished dream: to dance as a woman.

The event is actually a kind of public babakaram dance workshop for the public, with very brief storytelling of Dance Iranian Style in between, but we need people who are already dressed in suits and hats to form the core group.

Dance experience is not required.
