Firefly is the title song by Jeronimo in the new cinema film Mijn Vader is een Detective - The Battle. The 22-year-old singer also plays a leading role in the film as the talented singer Marty, who participates in the talent show Top Stars in the hope of becoming famous. In addition to Jeronimo, the cast includes Cees Geel, Beau van Erven Dorens, Ellen ten Damme, and Rick Mackenbach, among others.

The Battle premieres on October 3 at the Netherlands Film Festival and will be showing in Dutch cinemas from October 10. and Dorens, Ellen ten Damme and Rick Mackenbach have a role in the film.
