The documentary 'The Price of Heaven' by Jack Janssen has been nominated for the prestigious Prix Europa, the award presented annually to the best European television, radio, and new media productions. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 26, during the 'Night of Results' of the Prix Europa Festival in Berlin.

'The Price of Heaven' is about the development of young football talent Pablo Rosario. Filmmaker Jack Janssen followed the potential top player between the ages of 13 and 14. A year in which a lot is at stake for him. When Pablo turns thirteen, the time comes to prove that he can fulfill his great promise as a professional footballer, despite a difficult home situation and an unpredictable football world. Pablo must prove himself on many fronts. Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord all want to add Pablo to their squads, but he also has to show what he can do at school.

Never before in the Netherlands has a potential top footballer been followed so closely during such a crucial phase of his life.

'The Price of Heaven' is a co-production of Bonanza Films and HUMAN and was broadcast on June 7th.
The film is also being screened at the Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht.
