With the introduction of Eaglecam during the Ajax - AZ football match for Eredivisie Live, the first Dutch 3D flying camera system has become a reality. The Eaglecam from Film Dynamics and Toprek Rigging offers unique possibilities for recording events, TV, and film.

The Eaglecam consists of a gyroscopically stabilized camera suspended from four Kevlar cables powered by computer-controlled winches. This allows the camera to float through the air in three-dimensional movements at speeds of up to 36 km/h. The camera flight system enables new and varied camera angles, from a bird's-eye view to eye level. This allows sports matches, as well as concerts, TV/film, and other events, to be captured even more vividly.

Eredivise Live Exclusive
The first use of this 'flying camera' for the live coverage of the recent league match between Ajax and AZ in the Amsterdam Arena went to Eredivise Live and executive product Endemol Sport. It is a double first, as it is also the first football match in the Netherlands to utilize a flying camera system.
