Filming for the adventurous family series 'De Vier van Westwijk en de verdwijning van Bo Monti' has begun in Noordwijk aan Zee. The series is a production of Waterland Film and AVRO. The lead roles are played by Tygo Gernandt and Ferry Doedens. The child roles are played by Floor Blommestijn, Fleur van der Zon, and Stefan Perrier.
The series is based on the book series 'De Vier van Westwijk' by author Manon Spierenburg. She also wrote the script for this series.

'The Disappearance of Bo Monti' is an adventurous and humorous quest by three children for the missing singer Bo Monti. Their dog, Koesja, plays a leading role. Chris, Jack, Tessa, and the dog experience exciting adventures and grow into heroic characters.
'The Four of Westwijk' is set in the fictional town of Westwijk aan Zee on the North Sea coast. In winter, Westwijk aan Zee is a sleepy village. In summer, due to the enormous influx of tourists, it grows into a 'fashionable' metropolis where anything is possible.

The series is directed by Barbara Bredero and Camiel Schouwenaar. Important supporting roles are played by, among others, Jessica Zeylmaker, Marijn Klaver, Mara van Vlijmen, Catharina Haverkamp, Marc Nochem, Romana Vrede, Wim Bouwens, and Job Raaijmakers.

The ten-part family series 'De Vier van Westwijk' is produced by Waterland Film and can be seen on AVRO on Z@PP starting Saturday evening, October 13, at approximately 6:55 PM.
