The family film IEP! won the 'Best Dramatic Feature' award at the Taiwan International Children's Film Festival in early April. The Taiwan International Children's Film Festival (TICFF) was founded in 2004 and aims to expand children's cultural perspectives.

Last month, it was announced that IEP! will receive a theatrical release in China this summer. Last year, the film had its Chinese premiere at the ..... festival. IEP! has since been sold to more than 14 countries, including... (check out the press release IEP! sold to China). In the Netherlands, the film achieved Golden Film status.

IEP! is about Viegeltje, who looks like a girl but has wings instead of arms. Birdwatcher Warre finds her under a bush and takes her home. Warre and his wife Tine decide to keep Viegeltje and raise her as an ordinary girl. But Viegeltje is no ordinary girl, and she flies away. Featuring Huub Stapel, Joke Tjalsma, Diederik Ebbinge, and Kenadie Jourdin-Bromley, among others.

The screenplay was written by Mieke de Jong (Oorlogswinter, Tony 10) and the film was produced by Lemming Film in co-production with A Private View.
