None other than actor Theo Maassen and director Pieter Kuijpers will give a masterclass during the second edition of the Eindhoven Film Festival. The festival will have its second edition on 4, 5 and 6 November and, in addition to the master class, will present a surprising and varied range of independent films to the public.

On Saturday 5 November there will be the unique master class Pieter Kuijpers and Theo Maassen. Together they made the films TBS and Doodslag, the shoot of which took place in Eindhoven and can be seen in cinemas in January 2012. In this masterclass, which they give together, Pieter Kuijpers and Theo Maassen will provide text and explanations and there will be room for questions from the audience. Would you rather learn everything about camera? Then follow the workshop of cameraman Rick Roos. In this workshop, which takes place in a film set room, theory and practice are combined. This workshop is for all levels, the main requirement is that you are ready for action!

Short and long film productions can be seen during the varied program. For example, there is the feature film Bluf. This crazy comedy is set in Oirschot in Brabant, where the local hero is trying to win the motocross championship. However, this does not happen without a struggle. But there is also a very varied selection of special short films and especially for children there is the film 'The inventors and the sun wheel'. In this film, the young inventor Sibrand and the little Aisha experience a great adventure when they go in search of Sjors the lion tamer in their electric car.

The festival not only consists of special films and the associated activities, but also good food! The Temporary Restaurant will provide delicious meals on Saturday and Sunday for a reasonable price. All meals will be traditionally prepared with fresh ingredients.
