Yesterday, various websites for filmmakers were inaccessible for a few hours. The website Filmnieuws.nu was also temporarily 'shut down'. "It turned out there was a problem with another website on the server where our platforms also run, and it affected the whole system. Very annoying. It meant that we had to take all running websites offline. We had to work for a few hours to get everything back in order, and everything has now been restored," said a Filmpeople employee. Filmpeople's most popular sites are Filmstart.nl and Filmvacatures. "Many people were unable to read news or post messages. We hope that they have since been able to find and use our platforms again." Filmpeople has managed various important platforms for film professionals in the Netherlands since 1999 and is working on expanding its services.
