VOÃ SZ at the Netherlands Film Festival 2011

VOÃ SZ Vocal Projects from Utrecht is presenting a special program item at the 31st Netherlands Film Festival this year. On Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September, the 15 singers will present the performance Take Two at the Museum Speelklok. Well-known and lesser-known film music takes on a completely different meaning in this transmedia performance. Featuring visuals by VJ Martijn Grootendorst and the unique instruments from the Speelklok collection.

VOISZ is a vocal project group consisting of 15 experienced singers. On a project basis, it explores the boundaries of light vocal music. The motto: anything is possible and allowed, as long as it stimulates the musicality and creativity of both the singer and the listener. VOISZ created its first performance in collaboration with improvisation dancers. Take Two is a collaboration between VOISZ and Martijn Grootendorst, a highly experienced theater VJ. The performance is under the musical direction of conductor Erik van Vugt.
