Yesterday, the website of the Dutch Association of Cinema Editors was launched. The Dutch Association of Cinema Editors, founded on April 27, 2011, is an association of and for film editors, modeled after existing professional guilds such as the ACE and the NSC.

To become an active member, one must be able to demonstrate five years of active service as the lead editor of high-quality long-form film and/or television productions. Active members may use the abbreviation 'NCE' after their name on credits and in CVs.

The board of the association consists of Job ter Burg, Wouter Jansen, Herman P. Koerts, Peter Alderliesten, and Stanley Kolk.
