Producer LEV Pictures starts the shoot for the One Night Stand film *Met Donker Thuis* on Saturday, March 12, featuring Robert de Hoog (Skin), Gaite Jansen (In therapie), Gijs Scholten van Aschat (Tirza), and Anneke Blok (Tiramisu), among others. Shooting for the second film, *Vast*, begins on Saturday, April 9. Roles in *Vast* have been cast for Tygo Gernandt (Van god los) and Sigrid ten Napel (Penoza), among others. *One Night Stand* is one of the most important film projects for young, talented filmmakers in the Netherlands and is a collaboration between NTR, VARA, and VPRO. Within this project, LEV Pictures is producing two 50-minute films. The films will be shown on television this autumn.

Met Donker Thuis is written by Jaap Peter Enderle and directed by Joeri Holsheimer. The film tells the story of 21-year-old soldier Johnny, who is on a peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan. When it is nearing its end, platoonmate Diederick dies in his arms. Upon returning home, Johnny is welcomed as a hero, but accepts this with resignation. He has a poignant gift: a DVD that Diederick made for the birthday of his twin sister, Fleur. Through this video, Johnny is drawn into the pain of Diederick's unpredictable family. Johnny sees it as his duty to help them, but does not know how. To be able to come home, he must first allow himself to experience his grief.
Jaap Peter Enderle (1972) previously wrote the short film Vlotter, which was nominated for the City of Utrecht Debut Prize at the Netherlands Film Festival. Joeri Holsheimer (1975) previously directed the short film Oorlog and was assistant director for the feature film Schemer.

Bastiaan Tichler wrote the screenplay for Vast, and Rolf van Eijk is directing. In Vast, teenager Isabel is admitted to a closed juvenile detention center. When she ends up in solitary confinement following an incident, she vows to change herself. But before she can face the future, Isabel must first dare to confront her past.
Bastiaan Tichler (1984) previously wrote the screenplay for the NTR KORT! Met je mooie haren and, in collaboration with Pierre Audi, the screenplay for the feature film Mélisande. Rolf van Eijk (1983) previously directed the graduation film Hemel boven Holland. This film, which tells the story of Mohammed B, was selected for international film festivals and awarded the HKU Award.

LEV Pictures previously produced Sunset on a Rooftop, which won a Golden Calf for Best Short Film, and the short film Suiker, which won the audience award at the International Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival.
