This Friday, the first Sonic Warfare of 2011 will focus on one of the most defining dubstep labels: Tectonic. It is the embodiment of the Bristol scene, which, in response to the deep dubstep from London, gave a platform to the first crossovers towards techno and more minimal music from 2005 onwards. As 'cherry on top', Melkweg Cinema will screen a one-off dubstep documentary Bassweight, free for visitors to Sonic Warfare.
