Night of Animated Bad Taste - a 3-hour program full of erotica and half-baked comic book heroes

Especially for the Holland Animation Film Festival, horror and cult expert Jan Doense, a.k.a. Mr. Horror, is curating The Night of Animated Bad Taste in collaboration with Michael Helmerhorst. The 3-hour program is a journey of discovery through the dark cellars of world cinema, filled with trailers and clips of total failures in animated films; examples that are dubious and incredibly bad. Themes featured include erotica, racism, and half-baked comic book heroes; such as a German porn version of Snow White and a drug-using Fritz the Cat. In short, films that beg for resuscitation.

The Night of Animated Bad Taste is a hilarious, monstrous program ranging from old-fashioned handiwork to computer animation, from Puppetoon to clay extras and anime: all techniques are featured in this sense-assaulting program.
