THE IMAGINATION OF POWER

On October 5, we will examine a number of political egos and talk to the filmmakers who portrayed them. How do the filmmakers find access to the worlds of the politicians? Do they identify with their main characters? Who actually determines the content of the film, the filmmaker or the politician?

Guests include:
Nordin Lasfar. For VPRO's Backlight, he followed district chairman Ahmed Marcouch in his political struggle for survival

Rene Roelofs
He made a three-part documentary series about the House of Representatives and was subsequently called a "ratty filmmaker" by Agnes Kant.

The discussion leader is journalist Sywert van Lienden.
