The jury of the 2010 Golden Calf Competition has been expanded compared to previous years. General Chairman Pieter Broertjes leads the jury, which consists of a total of thirteen members. The jury is divided into three sub-sections so that the selected films can be viewed and judged at leisure, and expertise across genres and disciplines is represented as effectively as possible.

The nominations will be announced on Monday, September 27 (Short Film, Television Film, Short Documentary, and Feature Documentary) and Tuesday, September 28 (Feature Film, Director, Screenplay, Actor, Actress, Supporting Actor, Supporting Actress, Cinematography, Sound, Editing, Music, and Production Design) during Claudia de Breij's Talk Show at the Festival Pavilion on the Neude.

The Golden Calf awards ceremony takes place during the Dutch Film Gala on Friday, October 1, at the Stadsschouwburg in Utrecht. VPRO will report on the 2010 Golden Calf Gala on Nederland 3 from 20:30 to 21:50.
