Last week, the shoot for the new British thriller The Stone was completed, with the participation of Dutch pop artist Corjan, who plays a role in the film and also wrote the title song.

The film tells the story of a group of friends led by an American charlatan who search for the secret of life after death at England's most famous haunted location. The film is a paranormal thriller in the best British tradition.

The film was shot around Stonehenge and at Annesley Hall in Sherwood Forest, once the home of Lord Byron.

Philip Gardiner is a bestselling author, TV and filmmaker in Great Britain, whose documentaries on National Geographic, among others, have won five awards. Corjan appeared as a guest on his TV show on SKY TV last year, after writing a song inspired by Gardiner's book The Bond Code. Corjan was nominated for a Eurosonic Interactive Artist Award for this idea last December.

The film will be presented at various festivals in 2011. During the shoot, a music video was also filmed for Corjan's title song "Haunting Me Down," which will be released simultaneously with the film. Distribution is handled by Warner Brothers.
