Hi! I'm Max, and I'm a director of photography, and I also make edits. I'm based in Rotterdam. I have experience in short films, commercials and documentaries and ideally I'm looking for a nice project to really sink my teeth in. I've worked for ESPN, Feyenoord, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a range of commercial bureaus and last year I shot two pilots for 3LAB (Bittersweet, AvroTros and Cum Laude, BNNVARA) and shot and edited a short film (Verlosing). The year before that I shot and edited another short film (Benauwd, Official Selection International Film Festival Bratislava) and did the cinematography and the edit for a sports documentary (El Gladiador, Feyenoord production). Apart from my capabilities as a cinematographer and editor I also own a studio in Rotterdam, in case there's a necessity for anything ranging from (small) green screen shoots, projection or a place to edit. I'm not necessarily looking for anything that's particularly well paid, the most important thing for me is that it's a project with a good story and good people! Dear network, I am a starting filmmaker and want to gain more experience in making film, especially in camera work and editing, and therefore offer my help free of charge in exchange for more experience. In December 2022 I completed the pre-education film making at the Dutch Academy for Image Creation.
