SHORTCUTZ Annual Awards Volunteers

We will be needing volunteers between 1 pm and 1 am (differs per task) on Sunday the 21st of January. There are several tasks available from Trophy person to Registration to VIP lounge hosting. Besides helping out on the day itself, there will also be a special event held 1 to 2 days prior to the Awards show where we get to mingle with festival directors and filmpeople from all over the world. Just for volunteers and our international guests! We love to hear if you are interested and available, then we can discuss together what you could help out with. Also, if you would like to volunteer with a friend or know someone who would love this, please let me know! We are always looking to expand our team and network. The founders of Shortcutz speak English but we also have some Dutch natives in the team. It's a lovely network of internationals and locals.

We are looking for a composer who can write a piece of music that both sounds melancholic yet peaceful. The most logical choice would be to use the piano, but any instrument is possible, as long as it fits the film. The writer/director will give feedback to shape the piece so that it most optimally fits the film. We will work together online to achieve this. Wij zoeken een componist die een muziekstuk kan schrijven dat zowel melancholisch als vredig klinkt. De meest voor de hand liggende keuze is om de piano te gebruiken, maar elk instrument is mogelijk, zolang het bij de film past. De schrijver/regisseur geeft feedback om het stuk zo vorm te geven dat het optimaal bij de film past. Om dit te bereiken gaan wij online samenwerken.
